VALOR is an innovative new equine-guided support program aimed at helping first responders and front-line healthcare workers who find themselves experiencing symptoms of trauma as a result of the recent civic unrest and the on-going global endemic.

This program offers participants the opportunity to feel, deal with, and start to soften toxic stress and trauma they may be experiencing as a result of their daily work in today's world through participation in a 6-week program, which includes weekly closed circle group, facilitated by a nationally board certified integrative integrative health coach as well as one-on-one equine-guided activities.

Closed Circles will be held virtually via Zoom in accordance with policies and procedures for best practices.

Ricka Kohnstamm

Nationally Board Certified Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coach

Ricka Kohnstamm is an Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coach based out of Saint Paul, MN.  She brings years of experiences to her clients, walking with them on their journey towards Self and Self Truths, offering her guidance and support through her independent practice,  Align Whole Health Coaching.

"I use deep listening, guided self-reflection and authentic communication to help my clients identify areas of misalignment between their beliefs, values, and behaviors.

As my clients begin the process of solutions-focused realignment, they notice a sense of ease and relief.  New and more spacious behaviors provide the starting place for additional actionable steps leading to sustainable change."

It is our hope that, with Ricka's guidance and support, participants of VALOR can begin to untangle the mental, emotional, and spiritual dis-ease created by a complex work environment and create a path forward towards an integrated and authentic self marked by positive outcomes.
